More than 40% of the Defense Forces’ weapons are Ukrainian-made products - Budanov

Currently, more than 40% of the weapons of the Defense Forces are Ukrainian-made.
This was announced on Facebook by Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
He reminds us that on April 13, we honor people whose tireless work is felt at every kilometer of the frontline.
"Ukrainian gunsmiths are the smiths of victory, specialists who create the force that dictates the rules of the game on the battlefield with precise engineering calculations. It is their developments that allow military intelligence to act accurately, decisively, and proactively.
Modern Ukrainian weapons are a synthesis of ingenuity, combat experience, and incredible adaptability. Domestic systems are not just as good as foreign ones - they are created to meet the real needs of war, changing along with its course," Budanov emphasizes.
MAGURA V5 maritime drones have already become a symbol of a new era of naval operations. They have made it possible to launch powerful strikes against the enemy fleet where it was previously considered impossible - even in ports and on raids.
According to Budanov, Lutyi and Beaver attack drones are confidently operating behind enemy lines, Bohdan artillery systems provide maneuverability and firepower in the hottest spots of the front, and Sich and Rubaka drones allow them to see and hit the enemy at a depth of tens of kilometers.
"Today, more than 40% of the weapons of the Defense Forces are Ukrainian-made. This is an indicator that Ukraine is able to be a valuable defense partner of the democratic world. At a time when Europe's borders have once again become front lines, it is Ukrainian weapons that have become a shield for the security of the entire European community.
Thanks to the work of gunsmiths, the courage of intelligence officers, and the steadfastness of the entire Ukrainian people, we are forging Victory step by step," the DIU Chief summarizes.
