Today it is clear that only Russia has decided to continue war, - Macron on Russia’s attack on Sumy

Strike on Sumy

Amid the tragic events in Sumy, where a Russian missile attack killed 32 people, including two children, French President Emmanuel Macron called for "decisive measures to force Russia to cease fire."

According to Censor.NET, Macron wrote about this on the social network X.

"This morning, two Russian missiles hit the center of Sumy in Ukraine, killing dozens of civilians, including children, once again. Everyone knows that only Russia wanted this war. Today it is clear that only Russia has decided to continue it. Contrary to human lives, international law, and President Trump's diplomatic proposals," he wrote.

"Decisive measures are needed to force Russia to cease fire. France is working tirelessly on this together with its partners," Macron emphasized.

"To the victims, to the wounded, to all of Ukraine who are resisting: our solidarity, our respect, our commitment," the French president added.
