General Staff on Russian attack on Sumy: Our response will be tough

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that Russia will receive "inevitable retribution" for the missile attack on Sumy.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the General Staff's Facebook page.
"On the day of the great Christian holiday, Palm Sunday, Russian troops committed another crime against humanity: they struck the center of Sumy with ballistic missiles. Dozens of civilians were killed and injured. Having failed to achieve strategic success on the battlefield, the enemy is once again resorting to its usual tactics - fighting civilians, grossly violating international law, laws and customs of war," the General Staff emphasized.
They also emphasized that Russia has once again demonstrated that it does not seek peace: its goal is to sow fear. But Russia will only receive our anger and inevitable retaliation. Our response will be tough. We will destroy the occupiers, their military facilities, weapons and equipment - wherever they are. Russian war crimes have no statute of limitations. Criminals must be punished as they deserve."
As a reminder, as a result of a rocket attack on the center of Sumy on April 13, 2025, 34 people were killed and 115 were injured.
