There will be negotiations, war will end diplomatically. Occupied territories will be returned by people or time, - Zelenskyy. VIDEO
The war in Ukraine will end diplomatically, but Ukraine will never recognise the occupied territories as Russian despite any pressure.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with CBS News, Censor.NET reports.
"There will certainly be negotiations. Of course, they will be different - both trilateral and bilateral. There will be different formats. We will come to a diplomatic solution to this war, because Putin cannot occupy us, and we do not have the strength to de-occupy everything. This is an understandable situation. Diplomatically, this war will end," the Head of State noted.
He also noted that Ukraine will never recognise the occupied territories as Russian.
"They will put pressure on us, including through the US and some partners. They will want us to recognise it. We will return (the occupied territories - Ed.), when and how, I cannot say. This will be the most difficult thing... The territories will be returned by people or time, but human losses cannot be returned," Zelenskyy added.
