Already, 10,143 volunteers who had applied to recruitment centres became candidates for the Defence Forces of Ukraine and military personnel.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence.
"10,143 citizens have already become candidates for the Defence Forces of Ukraine and military personnel. In particular, 179 people received this status last week," the statement said.
As noted, the share of women among all applications is 21%. Most potential candidates apply in three regions: Chernivtsi - 43%, Khmelnytskyi - 39%, and Vinnytsia - 37%.
In addition, the total number of applications to the recruitment centres of the Ukrainian army reached 50,615. In particular, last week the centres' specialists provided 1,072 consultations.
The Ministry of Defence reminded that since February 2024, 49 recruitment centres of the Ukrainian army have been established and are operating in Ukraine, including one online centre.
They are mostly located in the premises of ASCs, where you can get advice on a confidential basis. Mobilisation activities and the delivery of summonses by notification groups are prohibited on the territory of the centres.
