Rubio after talks in Paris: Europe can help end war in Ukraine

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed his belief that Europe can make a significant contribution to ending the war in Ukraine.
He said this on April 18 before departing from Paris to Washington, Censor.NET reports with reference to TF1.
According to Rubio, European countries, including the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, can help advance the conflict resolution process.
"I think the United Kingdom, France, and Germany can help us, move things forward and bring us closer to a solution. I think their ideas are very helpful and constructive," the Secretary of State emphasized.
The statement came after talks that Rubio and US Special Representative Steve Witkoff held in Paris on April 16-18. The main topic was Russia's war against Ukraine.
Earlier, Keith Kellogg, the president's special envoy for Ukraine, said during the Munich Security Conference that he did not see Europe as a participant in peace talks on Ukraine. This position caused discontent in Europe at the time.
