Duda supports Poland’s access to France’s "nuclear umbrella" for protection against potential Russian threat

Polish President Andrzej Duda stated that his country should seek protection under France’s nuclear deterrent in the face of a potential threat from Russia.
Duda made the remarks in an interview with Bloomberg News, as reported by Censor.NET.
At the same time, he also called for the deployment of U.S. nuclear weapons in Poland.
"I believe we can pursue both options. These two ideas are neither contradictory nor mutually exclusive," the Polish leader said.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Poland is holding "serious talks" with France regarding President Emmanuel Macron’s proposal to use his country’s nuclear capability to protect European allies.
