Sybiha and Kallas hold call to discuss outcomes of Paris talks involving U.S.
On Friday, April 18, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a phone conversation with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
Sibiha reported the conversation on social media platform X, as cited by Censor.NET.
It was noted that the diplomats coordinated their positions "ahead of upcoming international events."
"We also discussed the latest diplomatic efforts, the outcomes of yesterday’s talks in Paris, and the next steps toward achieving a just and comprehensive peace in Ukraine and Europe," Sybiha said.
The Ukrainian minister also expressed his gratitude to the European Union for its "consistent support and practical assistance in strengthening Ukraine."
As reported earlier, on Thursday, April 17, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff held talks with European and Ukrainian counterparts to discuss ways to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.
