Complete ceasefire in Ukraine may be agreed in London as early as next week - New York Post

Ceasefire negotiations

A full and comprehensive ceasefire in Ukraine may be agreed in London next week.

This is reported by the New York Post, citing a senior Trump administration official, Censor.NET reports.

The publication notes that Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov told American officials that Kyiv "90%" supports President Trump's peace framework, presented in Paris this week by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and two special representatives aimed at stopping Russia's invasion.

"The question is whether Moscow, which has been thwarting Trump's attempts to reach a full ceasefire and peace deal, will join in," the article says.

"Next week in London, we want to make a decision on a full and comprehensive ceasefire," the official said.

According to him, the intention is to hold discussions with the Russians and find out what both sides insist on.

"And once we realize that, then the next steps will be determined," the official explained.
