Trump administration not discussing new aid package for Ukraine - NYT

There are virtually no discussions about a new military aid package for Ukraine at the moment - at least until the current support pushed through by the Biden administration in recent months is exhausted.
According to Censor.NET, The New York Times reports .
According to Ukraine's supporters in the US Congress, despite the fact that the current military and financial support for Ukraine, approved in the last months of Joe Biden's presidency, is nearing its end, there is little serious discussion of a new aid package in the White House and on Capitol Hill.
"European officials say they have not even received assurances that the United States will continue to provide Ukraine with intelligence that is key to its ability to strike Russian troops and infrastructure," the article says.
The publication also notes that, in fact, when the White House talks about its relations with Ukraine today, it usually talks about what it receives rather than what it plans to give.
Following the events in the Oval Office, the United States and Ukraine are renegotiating an agreement on US investment and access to Ukrainian minerals.
One example is the agreement on access to Ukraine's strategic natural resources, which is currently under active consideration. It took almost 6 weeks to rewrite the document, which was never signed.
"The deal Trump really wants is a deal with Russia. But to achieve it, he needs to bypass Ukraine - either by declaring a ceasefire or simply putting the issue aside," the statement said.
