Starmer and Trump discuss Ukraine during phone call

UK PM Keir Starmer spoke by phone with U.S. President Donald Trump. Ukraine was among the topics discussed.

Starmer and Trump discussed bilateral trade, national security, and touched on the situations in Ukraine, Iran, and the recent actions against the Houthis in Yemen.

"The leaders began by discussing ongoing and productive talks between the United Kingdom and the United States on trade. The Prime Minister reaffirmed his commitment to free and open trade and the importance of protecting national interests," said a Downing Street spokesperson.

The Prime Minister’s Office also noted that the leaders agreed to stay in touch.
