UK demands Russia to explain militants' possession of TOS-1 rocket system
The British delegation to the OSCE has demanded an explanation from Russia on how militants in the Donbas got hold of heavy flamethrower system TOS-1.
This is announced in a statement posted in Twitter on Thursday, Oct. 15, Censor.NET reports.
The UK refers to the OSCE report of Sept. 28, 2015 where it was stated that in "LPR"-controlled Kruhlyk (31 km south-west of Luhansk) a heavy multiple launch thermobaric rocket system (TOS-1 Buratino, 220 mm) was spotted.
TOS-1 Buratino is a mobile heavy flamethrower system which can be equipped with thermobaric missiles. They spray a special mixture in the air around the target, which subsequently ignites.
This system is produced only in Russia.
