35% of Kyiv residents have voted as of 6 p.m.

About 35% of Kyiv residents gave their vote for mayor and city council candidates at all 1,089 polling stations as of 6 p.m.

This was announced by Chief of Staff of Kyiv City Council Volodymyr Bondarenko, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"According to unofficial information the election turnout is about 35%, as of 6 p.m.," Bondarenko said.

28 candidates run for Kyiv's mayoral office.
