Ukrainian specialists successfully neutralized several drones in Danish airspace during a combat experience exchange as part of a visit by a Ukrainian delegation to the Kingdom.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

"Our specialists in countering attack UAVs launched a Sting interceptor drone, which precisely destroyed a Danish Banshee target," the statement said.

Representatives from several European countries were invited to the live demonstration and had the opportunity to witness firsthand the effectiveness of Ukrainian solutions in countering aerial threats.

The interception was captured on video. After the demonstration, Ukrainian drone pilots received dozens of questions from their foreign colleagues.

"Ukraine continues to teach Europeans how to counter new challenges. Together we are strengthening Europe’s defense capability," the General Staff emphasized.

The Wild Hornets company, which developed and produces Sting interceptor drones, noted that interceptors are currently the most effective means of combating Shaheds, the same Iranian-made drones that Russia launches by the hundreds over Ukraine almost every night. According to the manufacturer, more than 600 Shaheds have been shot down using Sting drones in the past three and a half months.

"There is no alternative to interceptor drones against Shaheds. No one can produce 6,000 anti-aircraft missiles a month — that’s physically impossible. Missiles are complex and expensive weapons systems that cost more than the Shaheds themselves," Wild Hornets added.

Information about the Sting interceptor first emerged in the autumn of 2024. In August 2025 the UAV set a speed record, reaching 315 km/h in sustained flight. According to Wild Hornets, a single interceptor costs $2,500.
