On the front line, tank crews from the AFU's 5th Separate Assault Brigade carried out a successful operation, destroying a group of Russian assault troops who were preparing to attack.
According to Censor.NET, tankers from the "Green" and "Kizi" crews spotted an enemy group hiding in a shelter. The enemy concentrated its forces in the building for a further offensive, but Ukrainian soldiers acted pre-emptively. After several accurate shots, the occupiers' position was destroyed along with its personnel.
"The enemy was accumulating personnel to storm our positions. However, the crews of the 5th Assault Brigade acted pre-emptively, accurately and decisively. After several well-aimed shots, the enemy group was destroyed before the attack even began. Each shot is the result of the coordinated work of a team that confidently holds the line of defence and destroys the enemy, leaving them no chance."
