According to her, Russia fields its artillery and other ground assets in the provinces of Homs and Hama. Nuland has not identified her sources.
Earlier, Assistant Secretary of State said that, according to her information, Moscow's air campaign in Syria was costing between $2 million and $4 million a day.
Nuland called on Russia to cooperate with the United States. According to her, Moscow should contribute to establishment of truce in Syria as well as peaceful change of power in the country.
