ARMA is preparing Medvedchuk’s seized yacht for sale
The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has moved on to the practical phase of preparing for the sale of the seized yacht Royal Romance, belonging to Viktor Medvedchuk, who is suspected of high treason.
This is stated in a statement from ARMA, according to Censor.NET.
"At present, following international cooperation, ARMA has moved on to the stage of practical preparations for the sale of the Royal Romance asset," the statement said.
The Agency noted that the Royal Romance case has been met with intense procedural resistance from the party linked to Viktor Medvedchuk. Specifically, this involves attempts to drag out the proceedings and use every possible legal means to block the case’s progress.
The ARMA emphasizes that such resistance is an expected part of such processes, and the relevant risks have been brought to the attention of the competent authorities for appropriate action.
Work on other assets
At the same time, ARMA continues to work on other complex assets. In particular, in the case of the yacht Amore Mio, linked to Viktor Medvedchuk’s inner circle, the key challenge has been determining the asset’s location.
"To this end, the Agency has engaged a broad network of international partners, including Interpol, Europol, the International Maritime Organization, and the competent authorities of several countries. As a result of this work, the vessel has been added to Interpol’s Stolen Vessels database, which enables global monitoring of its movements," the statement said.
The ARMA noted that this case demonstrates that even in instances where an asset is effectively hidden, international cooperation makes it possible to establish effective mechanisms for locating it and bringing it back into the legal framework.

The yacht Royal Romance, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Croatia, has been transferred to ARMA for management with a view to its subsequent sale, pursuant to an order issued by an investigating judge.
The ARMA noted that the completion of the pre-trial investigation marked an important procedural milestone—the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has submitted the indictment to the court, and the case has moved to the trial phase.
The relevant materials have been provided to the Croatian side as part of international legal assistance.
At the same time, preparations are underway to assess the asset, determine the sales model, and ensure a transparent sales process through public channels.
