State of emergency declared in occupied Crimea because of power blackout

State of emergency was introduced in the occupied Crimea due to termination of power on the peninsula.

Censor.NET reports referring to ТАSS, which cites a representative of the regional Emergency Service.

"State of emergency was declared in the occupied Crimea by the 'head of the government' because of the power blackout. All units of the Emergency Situation Ministry have been alerted," he said.

According to rescuers, "mobile teams to monitor electricity supply of the socially important facilities" are working in Crimea to connect generators and mobile power plants.
