UN Secretary-General urges US-Russia cooperation on terrorism
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on the Russian Federation and the United States to cooperate in fighting terrorism.

The UN chief said he expected the support of Washington and Moscow in wiping out a common enemy.
Ban Ki-moon also said the United Nations was gathering ideas from members toward a joint counter-terror strategy.
He stressed that "these terrorists and ideology extremists should be defeated in the name of humanity."
