Poland to allocate $1 billion EUR loan to Ukraine, - Poroshenko

He announced this to reporters after talks with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Kyiv on Tuesday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"Talks were held between head of the National Bank of Ukraine Hontarieva and head of the National Bank of Poland Belka, where agreements have been reached - I was informed of them by the head of the National Bank - on opening a line of credit to Kyiv for an amount of 4 bln PLN, or 1 bln EUR, which will definitely enhance trade turnover between Ukraine and Poland," Poroshenko said.

The Polish zloty exchange rate to euro as of Dec. 15 by national banks is 4.35-4.39 PLN / 1 EUR.
