US expands sanctions against Russia
The U.S. has expanded sectoral sanctions list. The restrictions cover VTB24, Sberbank of Russia and VTB subsidiaries, as well as Yandex-Money payment service provider.
It follows from the statement of the U.S. Treasury, Censor.NET reports citing Gazeta.ru.
The list of Russia/Ukraine-related sanctions and identifications includes 34 individuals and legal entities totally.
The sanctions were additionally imposed against great number of overseas subsidiaries of VTB and Sberbank state owned banks operating in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Europe in particular. Moreover, the new list includes non-State pension funds owned by Sberbank, VTB, and VTB24 banks.
The sanctions also impacts Gals-Development real estate development company, Novikombank, Aircraft Engineering Concern, Modern Technologies LLC, United Engine Corporation JSC, State Concern Oboronprom, Aviation Equipment Concern OJSC, SPLAV Scientific Production Association OJSC, Rosoboronexport and other companies.
