Kominternove still held by terrorists, - ATO press center
Terrorists continue holding Kominternove village (the Donetsk region), where the OSCE observers have been fired at.
ATO headquarters spokesman Anton Myronovych said on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET reports.
"Concerning Kominternove, the situation actually remains unchanged. The militants are in the village. They've got heavy weapons and equipment there. They resorted to provocation yesterday, which we were given warning of in advance. They have intentionally orchestrated a so-called "attack on the OSCE". They committed it and accused us as usual," he said.
Myronovych also added that the situation in Zaitseve remains tense due to heavy militants' strikes from tanks and mortars, which, according to locals, are constantly underway. The movement around the village is limited as the enemy snipers are actively committing attacks.
According to him, the militants continue conducting assaults primarily in the vicinity of the Donetsk airport, Pisky, Opytne, Avdiivka and north of Horlivka. "We report on the assaults on our positions there almost daily. But I want to state a pleasant fact that no attacks by the Russian-terrorist troops on our positions has been recorded since the beginning of the day," Myronovych said.
