Crimea lacks up to 35% of electricity - Crimea's 'head' Aksenov

The occupied Crimea lacks 30 to 35% of its required electricity.

The peninsula's puppet head Sergey Aksenov said in an interview to Russia 24 channel, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the "Crimea's government".

According to forecasts, additional generating capacities, including two stations, which should produce additional 880 MW, will be built in Crimea by 2018, he noted.

"With the commissioning of the second phase of the energy bridge we will get additional 400 MW and exactly cover the deficit that formed after the attack on the territory of Ukraine," Aksenov said.
