Brent crude oil futures with delivery in March have decreased by 0.7 percent - to $30.67 per barrel on London's ICE Futures Exchange by 7 a.m. Moscow time.
Futures price of WTI crude oil with delivery in February has slumped by 1.6 percent - to $30.69 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by this time.
The oil prices plunged below $30 this week for the first time in 12 years.
The Iranian officials declare plans to increase production by one million barrels per day within the next six months.
