Russia impedes fight against Islamists in Syria, - NATO General
NATO believes that Russia's military presence in Syria is not basically directed against the Islamic State but merely complicates the fight against terrorists.
According to General Pavel, Russia mainly attacks the opposition forces instead of the ISIS terrorists' forces somewhere around 70 to 30 percent accordingly.
He stressed that such Russian military activity in Syria only aggravated the situation, in particular, with regard to coordination among the members of the international coalition fighting against ISIS.
