Poroshenko Bloc set to retain Yatseniuk in office, - MP Lutsenko

Yurii Lutsenko, Poroshenko Bloc parliamentary faction chairman, says early parliamentary elections are inevitable, should prime minister Arsenii Yatseniuk and the entire Cabinet of Ministers be dismissed.

He stated this on air of Inter TV channel, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"Why are we talking about Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk? Because otherwise, it would mean a re-election of the Verkhovna Rada and at least four months of irresponsible talks, abundance of populism," he said.

According to Lutsenko, it is imperative that 2016 be a year of political stability, investment, and development of the domestic economy.

Poroshenko Bloc deems Yatseniuk acceptable as prime minister; however, his Cabinet needs to be rebooted, Lutsenko noted.
