In turn, Pasishnyk said earlier he was ready to come for questioning to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau to testify in the probe into Kononenko's possible graft.

As previously reported, Verkhovna Rada MP Serhii Leshchenko said that Kononenko had tried to lobby the appointment of Pasishnyk as deputy economy minister, which triggered Abromavicius' resignation.

Pasishnyk confirms his interest in occupying the post of deputy minister, while denying any information about lobbying his candidacy by Kononenko.
