"Ukraine to procceed with reforms," - Poroshenko spoke with Lagarde
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde.
Censor.NET reports referring to presidential press service.The head of state emphasized that Ukraine would proceed with reforms despite the crisis in relations between the government and the parliamentary coalition.
The president highlighted the necessity of refreshing the Cabinet of Ministers without early parliamentary elections which may only deepen the political crisis and affect the opportunities for reforms.
Poroshenko stressed his readiness for decisive actions to ensure political and financial stability within Ukraine.
The parties agreed to elaborate a road map of the top-priority reforms, which will provide a new impetus to the Ukraine-IMF relations. They also reached understanding in terms of urgent adoption of all reformist laws by the parliament.
