Kononenko not to give up parliamentary mandate
Poroshenko Bloc MP Ihor Kononenko is not going to give up his parliamentary mandate.
As reported by Censor.NET, he said it to reporters after interrogation at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, RBC-Ukraine informs.
"I will not comment on questions and answers, investigation prohibits revealing this," Kononenko said.
He said he proposed to arrange a face-to-face questioning with Economy Minister Aivaras Abromavicius.
"I reiterated my request for a face-to-face questioning with Aivaras Abromavicius. Under the new Criminal Procedure Code, this is called cross questioning," Kononenko said.
He also suggested that the NABU should test Abromavicius with a lie detector.
"I once again told investigators about my proposal to Abromavicius to pass a polygraph test to establish the truth," the MP underlined.
According to Kononenko, he is ready to take part in investigation with involvement of any people mentioned by Abromavicius.
