Dollar soars to UAH 26.60/$1

Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Friday fell to UAH 26.60/$1 by the end of trade.

Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 29.4770/29.5670, while those against the Russian ruble have settled at UAH 0.3280/0.3290.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 12:30 was UAH 26.1314 against the dollar, with 144 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $50.82 million.
