120,767 servicemen granted combat veteran status since beginning of ATO

120,767 members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been granted the status of war veteran since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the eastern Ukraine.

Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Spokesperson Viktoria Kushnir said at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"The status of combat veteran has already been granted to 120,767 people as of today," she said.

According to her, 3,413 people were granted such status over the past week.

Further work in this direction continues.
