As of evening Sunday, Moscow had not granted permission to a group of Ukrainian doctors to see the Ukrainian military and people's deputy Nadiia Savchenko in the 3rd detention facility of Novocherkassk, the Rostov region, Russia.
This was said by Consul General of Ukraine in Rostov-on-Don Vitalii Moskalenko to Censor.NET's correspondent."A relevant inquiry to the Russian Foreign Ministry was sent on March 5. However, there has been no response yet," Moskalenko said.
Today, March 7, consuls are planning to visit the detention facility where Nadiia Savchenko is held."We have a strong intention and need to get to her at any cost!" Moskalenko stressed.
As reported, on March 3 Nadiia Savchenko went on dry hunger strike. On March 4 she was seen by consuls, lawyers and her sister Vira. After that, the Ukrainian party had no chance to ensure that her health condition is satisfactory.
