Savchenko’s mother travels to Russia to support daughter in court

Mother of Ukrainian pilot Nadiia Savchenko Maria departed to the Russian Federation to support her daughter in the Russian court.

Batkivshchyna parliamentary faction MP Oleksii Riabchyn told UNIAN correspondent, Censor.NET informs.

"The group of MPs left for Russia together with Nadiia's mother Maria Savchenko to support our heroine," Riabchyn said.

Earlier, 78-year-old Maria Savchenko recorded a video appeal to world leaders to make every effort to release the Ukrainian pilot illegally held in the Russian Federation, who went on a dry hunger strike.
