Cabinet to insistently urge SOEs to implement ProZorro system, - Yatseniuk

Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk deems it necessary to require that the leadership of state-owned enterprises employ ProZorro electronic public procurement system.

He said it at a Cabinet meeting on Friday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"I think we have to adopt a Cabinet resolution to strongly recommend state-owned companies to implement ProZorro," he said.

Yatseniuk added the easiest way to do that was to make changes to contracts with the heads of state-owned companies that would make them pledge to implement this system.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the regulations on the operation of ProZorro electronic public procurement system.

ProZorro is a system developed on the initiative of non-governmental organizations, commercial projects, public authorities, and entrepreneurs in February 2015.
