Sacked underqualified law enforcers massively sue Interior Ministry, - Avakov

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov reports a great number of lawsuits filed against the Interior Ministry by those employees who failed to successfully pass the reassessment.

He stated this at the 9th Kyiv Security Forum, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"We are now carrying out the recertification of personnel - it is very painful - many people from the old system do not meet the requirements and get dismissed... We have to face lawsuits against our resolute actions," he said.

According to the minister, the work of some police units is currently suspended.

This is the price of changes in the ministry, he added.
