Police officer Kiva to be dismissed, - National Police Head Dekanoidze

Head of the National Police of Ukraine Khatia Dekanoidze is initiating dismissal of head of the department of drug crimes fighting of the National Police of Ukraine Illia Kiva due to his offensive statement.

She said this on Friday to journalists, Censor.NET is reporting citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"I am filing documents to dismiss Kiva, and sincerely hope that the minister [of Interior Arsen Avakov - ed.] supports it, because his [Kiva's - ed.] comments, especially on ATO soldiers, are unacceptable," she said to reporters in Kyiv on Friday.
