Accusation against Pasishnyk sent to court, - NABU

This was announced by the press service of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.

As reported, the defense has familiarized itself with materials of the pre-trial investigation, thus the accusation has been sent to court.

Pasishnyk was informed of completion of the pre-trial investigation on March 28 and granted access to his materials.

As reported earlier, on Feb. 24, 2016 NABU detectives registered criminal proceedings under part 1 article 34 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (interference with activities of a state official) upon the fact of illegal influence by Pasishnyk over Abromavicius between Jan. 25 and Feb. 1 with the purpose to take the post of deputy minister. On March 9 Pasishnyk was served a notice of suspicion.

Investigation of another criminal proceeding, concerning influence of a number of MPs over Economy Minister Abromavicius, initiated upon his statement, continues.
