Ukraine needs to enhance cooperation with African continent, - Poroshenko

During his working trip to the Kherson region, President Poroshenko visited Pallada state plant.

During a working trip to the Kherson region, Poroshenko took part in the ceremony of transferring a floating dock to South African company Southey Holdings LTD.

"I am confident that today's event will become an impetus for intensification of economic contacts between Ukraine and the South African Republic. I have given instructions to expand our cooperation with the African continent. You are the pioneers in this important market," Poroshenko stated.

The president is hopeful that Pallada plant will take part in a tender for construction of floating piers, repairing yards, and barracks as well as for installation of wave protection facilities for domestic fleet.
