"EU sanctions contingent on Minsk deal implementation," - French Foreign Ministry

"We take note of today's resolution by the National Assembly, which calls on the government to reverse the restrictive measures imposed by the European Union against Russia. The government is aware of France's responsibility as a European Union member and Normandy format negotiator.
"The sanctions of the European Union are contingent on the implementation of the Minsk agreements. It should be taken into account when considering their upgrade in future. It is important to preserve European unity in this regard, which is a key to our effectiveness," the French Foreign Ministry noted.
