Midterm election of Verkhovna Rada deputies to take place in four precincts on July 17

The Central Election Commission has scheduled mid-term election of Verkhovna Rada deputies in the precincts No. 27 (Dnipropetrovsk), No. 85 (Ivano-Frankivsk region), No. 151 (Poltava region), and No. 206 (Chernihiv) on Sunday, July 17.

The decision was taken at a CEC meeting on Tuesday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

The precinct No. 27 will see a midterm vote due to Borys Filatov's resignation as people's deputy after becoming mayor of Dnipropetrovsk on October 25, 2015, whereas the precinct No. 206 - due to its people's deputy Vladyslav Atroshenko becoming mayor of Chernihiv.

The precincts No. 85 and No. 151 will vote because their MPs Ihor Nasalyk and Taras Kutovyi were appointed on April 14 ministers of energy and agricultural policy respectively.
