Poroshenko earned over 32,000 hryvnia in April

Salary of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko amounted to 32,470.66 hryvnia (about $1,300) in April.

Censor.NET informs citing the reply of the State Management of Affairs of Ukraine to the request filed by Ukrainski Novyny.

According to the regulatory legal acts, the president's salary amounts to 140 percent of the prime minister's one. The payroll calculations are ran on the total amount without its components' details and indexed in accordance with current legislation.

Earlier, Poroshenko's salary in March amounted to 37,288.37 hryvnia (about $1,500).
