Seven Ukrainian soldiers killed, nine injured yesterday, - ATO spokesperson
Seven servicemen were killed, nine others received injuries in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) on May 23.
This was announced by Presidential Administration spokesperson on ATO matters, Colonel Oleksandr Motuzianyk, Censor.NET reports."Over the past day, unfortunately, we sustained significant losses: seven Ukrainian soldiers were killed, nine others received injuries. These extremely heavy losses were suffered along the entire frontline," he said.
The casualties are reported to be the heaviest since the beginning of the year.
