Lutsenko voiced PGO's priorities for coming year
Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko described changes Ukraine will see after a year of his office.
Censor.NET reports citing 1+1."I promise to clean the ranks of people in uniform who seem to live on another planet. I'll need a year for that. During the next 12 months, I pledge and instruct the investigators to take the case against Yanukovych and his cronies to court.
"I pledge to launch several rounds of operations against Ukraine's mafia structures. I can not tell you the direction of the strike or call names. But today, I was told that a number of interesting people had asked for foreign passports," the prosecutor general said.
"Turning the prosecutor's office into a European authority is another priority. The reforms, started by the parliament and now by the prosecutor's office, will bring results only in April-May 2017," Lutsenko summed up.
