Midterm elections to Verkhovna Rada: CEC processed 53 percent of ballots
As at 10:50 a.m., July 18, the Central Election Commission of Ukraine had processed 53.41 percent of ballots in midterm elections of people's deputies, which took place yesterday in seven constituencies across the country.
At this point, according to the CEC, the leaders are Iryna Konstankevych, Tetiana Rychkova, Viktor Shevchenko, Ruslan Bohdan, Yurii Odarchenko, Censor.NET reports.







As previously reported, the CEC held midterm elections in seven constituencies after the following people's deputies resigned over a number of reasons: Borys Filatov (became mayor of Dnipro), Vladyslav Atroshenko (mayor of Chernihiv), Ihor Nasalyk (minister of energy), Taras Kutovyi (minister of agrarian policy), Ihor Yeremeiev (died in an accident), Yurii Harbuz (head of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration), and Andrii Hordeiev (head of the Kherson regional administration).
