One Ukrainian soldier killed, five injured yesterday, - ATO speaker (updated)
One Ukrainian soldier was killed, five received injuries in the course of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of Ukraine on July 17.
This was announced by ATO speaker Andrii Lysenko at a briefing on Monday, Censor.NET informs."Yesterday, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, five received injuries," he said.
Answering a question of the location and reason for the killing and injuries, Lysenko answered: "The soldier was killed in Luhanske village in shelling. One military was wounded in Zaitseve, three were injured in Avdiivka, and one in Shyrokyne. Zaitseve and Avdiivka [injuries] were caused by shelling, Shyrokyne [injury was caused by] a mine tripping."
As reported, according to the NSDC, Russian-terrorist groups have killed 10,000 and injured more than 20,000 Ukrainians in the Donbas over the past two years.
