Situation in Munich calmed down, - Ukrainian consul

The situation in Munich, where a shootout happened at a mall last night, has stabilized.

Consul General of Ukraine in Munich Vadym Kostiuk told 112 TV Channel, Censor.NET reports.

According to him, public transport resumed work in the city.

"In general, the situation in the city calmed down. The police sirens subsided, and public transport resumed opereations. I noticed a lot of vehicles heading south on my way to work; it is quite usual for Saturday," he said.

Earlier, it was reported that 10 people were killed and 16 wounded as a result of a shooting in a Munich mall.
