Judge Chaus suspected of bribe extortion takes vacation
Judge of the Dniprovskyi district court of Kyiv Mykola Chaus suspected of accepting large scale bribe took a leave on Wednesday, Aug. 10 until Sept. 1.
As reported by Censor.NET, court administrator Natalia Nazarenko told Ukrainski Novyny."He is on vacation leave starting from today," she said.
Chaus will be on vacation until Sept. 1.
Earlier, NABU detectives apprehended Judge of the Dniprovskyi district court of Kyiv Mykola Chaus who was extorting and obtained an unlawful benefit in the amount of $150,000.
Corrupt judge cannot be apprehended or remanded until the parliament strips him of immunity.
