UN to join search for ways to end war – Zelenskyy holds call with Guterres
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with UN Secretary-General António Guterres.

UN Secretary-General condemns massive Russian strikes
First, Zelenskyy briefed the UN Secretary-General on Russia’s constant strikes and the numerous casualties among ordinary civilians.
Guterres condemned these massive Russian attacks on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities and communities.
The parties also discussed the threats posed by Russian strikes to food security and Russia’s constant attacks on port infrastructure and vessels. Zelenskyy noted that the effects were already being felt in many countries across Africa, the Middle East and Asia, where prices had begun to rise.

"But despite the Russian side rejecting all proposals to sit down at the negotiating table, everything possible must be done to end this war. We agreed that the search for solutions would continue and that the UN would join the collective efforts," the head of state said.
