Zelenskyy changes NSDC membership: Khmara and Sybiha added
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy updated the membership of the National Security and Defense Council, adding Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Defence Minister Yevhenii Khmara.
This is stated in Presidential Decree No. 797/2026, Censor.NET reports.
NSDC membership updated
"I hereby decree: 1. In partial amendment of Article 1 of Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 501/2025 of 19 July 2025 "On the Membership of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine" (as subsequently amended), to approve the following as members of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine: Andrii Ivanovych Sybiha – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine; Yevhenii Leonidovych Khmara – Minister of Defence of Ukraine," the document reads.
The decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
