Russia attacked the railway in Kyiv and Odesa region: foreman was killed in Darnytsia, and station in Rozdilna was damaged

On the night of 22 August, Russian forces launched a ballistic strike on one of the railway facilities in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. A railway worker was killed as a result of the attack.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia.
"One of our employees – a foreman – was killed on the spot. The rest were quickly evacuated after the first strike," the statement reads.
The Odesa railway was also targeted by the Russian attack. The station building at Rozdilna station was damaged.
Railway staff are already working to repair the damage caused by the strikes. Pertsovskyi emphasised that Russian forces had failed to disrupt train services.
What led up to this?
As a result of a Russian ballistic missile strike on the night of 22 August, a fire broke out in a warehouse in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. One person was killed and others were injured.
